By accessing and using Purchet ("the Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

Purchet is an online platform that connects students with accommodation providers (hosts) near universities in Ghana. We facilitate bookings, payments, and communication between students and hosts.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. User Responsibilities

4.1 For Students

• Provide accurate information in booking requests
• Respect property rules and host guidelines
• Make payments on time as agreed
• Report any issues promptly through proper channels

4.2 For Hosts

• Provide accurate property descriptions and photos
• Maintain property safety and cleanliness standards
• Respond to inquiries in a timely manner
• Honor confirmed bookings and agreements

5. Booking and Payment Terms

5.1 Booking Process

Bookings are confirmed when both student and host agree to terms and payment is processed. All bookings are subject to host approval unless instant booking is enabled.

5.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through our platform. We accept mobile money, bank transfers, and credit/debit cards. Service fees apply to all transactions.

5.3 Cancellation Policy

Cancellation terms vary by property and are clearly stated in each listing. Refund amounts depend on the timing of cancellation and the property's specific policy.

6. Platform Fees

Purchet charges service fees to cover platform operations, customer support, and payment processing. All fees are clearly disclosed before booking confirmation.

7. Content and Conduct

7.1 User Content

Users may post reviews, photos, and other content. You retain ownership of your content but grant Purchet a license to use it for platform operations.

7.2 Prohibited Conduct

• Posting false or misleading information
• Harassment or discrimination of any kind
• Attempting to circumvent platform fees
• Violating local laws or regulations

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

9. Dispute Resolution

We provide a resolution center to help resolve disputes between students and hosts. Our support team will mediate and help find fair solutions.

10. Limitation of Liability

Purchet acts as an intermediary platform. While we verify properties and users, we are not responsible for the actual accommodation experience or disputes between parties.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts that violate these terms or engage in prohibited conduct.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Users will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ghana.
